Step 1: Download

Go to the GitHub Releases page and download the latest version.

Windows users: download the .zip archive (~70MB), extract it, and run MoyinCreator.exe directly.

(If you downloaded the installer .exe, just double-click and follow the prompts; the default install path is C:\Program Files\MoyinCreator)

Step 2: First Launch

After extraction, double-click MoyinCreator.exe. A black terminal window will pop up along with a web control interface (your browser opens localhost:7860 by default).

If the browser doesn't open automatically, visit http://localhost:7860 manually.

Step 3: Configure the API (Critical!)

MoyinCreator doesn't generate content itself — it calls external APIs. You need to configure:

• Moyin API (Base URL: https://memefast.top) — for script parsing and character/scene generation
• Jimeng API or SiliconFlow — for text-to-image and image-to-video

In MoyinCreator's "Settings" → "API Configuration", fill in:

• API Base URL (the address Moyin gives you)
• API Key (obtained from the Moyin console)
• The model to use (recommended: gemini-3-pro-image-preview)

Step 1: Prepare the Script

Organize your written script; the ideal format looks like this:

Episode 1: Mystery on the Old Street

Scene 1-1: Edge of the old street · Night road (cold tones, dim yellow streetlight)
Lin Xiao walks along the old street. His phone lights up with an anonymous message: "Do you know what that book eats?"
He stops and looks up at Shigu Studio on the street corner.

Scene 1-2: Shigu Studio · Storefront (warm tones, wooden signboard)
The door is half open, faint light spilling out from inside.

The more detailed the script, the more accurate the AI-generated storyboards. For each scene, spell out: location, time, atmosphere, character actions, camera angle.

Step 2: Create Character Cards

In MoyinCreator's "Characters" section, create a character card for each main character:

• Character name: Lin Xiao
• Appearance description: "Young man in his early 20s, dark short hair, wearing a gray hoodie, delicate features but wary eyes"
• Style: Urban suspense / HD photorealistic / 9:16 vertical
• Reference image: Upload a character design image generated by Jimeng (generate one first with Jimeng's text-to-image feature)

Once the character card is created, all subsequent storyboards will reference this image, keeping the character's look consistent.

Step 3: Build the Scene Library

In the "Scenes" section, define the visual style of each scene:

• Scene 1-1: Edge of the old street · Night road → cold blue-gray tones + dim yellow streetlight + Makoto Shinkai style
• Scene 1-2: Shigu Studio · Storefront → warm brown tones + wooden signboard + low-light atmosphere
• Scene 1-3: Inside the bookstore · Hidden room → dark red + golden + mysterious atmosphere

Generate a concept image for each scene (using Jimeng text-to-image) and upload it to the scene card as a reference.

This way, when generating storyboards later, the AI knows what each scene should look like.

Step 4: Script Parsing & Shot Breakdown

Paste your organized script into the "Script" section and click "Parse Script". MoyinCreator will:

1. Automatically recognize scene numbers (1-1, 1-2, 2-1...)
2. Extract the characters, actions, and dialogue in each scene
3. Generate a storyboard list (each storyboard corresponds to one shot)

After parsing, you can see all the shots in the "Storyboard" section. Each shot has:

• Shot number (e.g. 1-1-01)
• Visual description (auto-generated)
• Linked character cards and scene cards
• Camera movement (static/push/pull/pan/tracking — manually editable)

Step 5: Batch-Generate Storyboard Images

In the "Director" section, select the shots to generate (select all, or just a few episodes for testing) and click "Batch Generate Images".

MoyinCreator will call the Jimeng/SiliconFlow APIs to generate the storyboard images one by one.

When generation finishes, each shot has a static image (like a storyboard frame).

Step 6: Image-to-Video (Bring the Storyboards to Life)

After the storyboard images are generated, select a shot and click "Generate Video". MoyinCreator will call the Jimeng/Kling image-to-video API to turn the static storyboard into a moving video clip.

Recommended parameters:

• Duration: 5 seconds (enough for short videos; 10 seconds costs twice as much)
• Motion intensity: choose based on the shot ("subtle" for talking shots, "medium" for action shots)
• Resolution: 1080p (720p is cheaper but looks worse)

Step 7: Download Assets & Assemble in CapCut

Once all storyboard videos are generated, batch-download them in the "Export" section.

Then use CapCut (Jianying) to stitch all the video clips together in script order:

• Import the storyboard video clips
• Add transitions (CapCut's built-in transition effects)
• Add subtitles (AI auto-caption feature)
• Add background music (CapCut's licensed music library)
• Add sound effects (ambience, footsteps, etc.)

Export settings: 1080p / 30fps / 10Mbps — good for Douyin / WeChat Channels / Bilibili.
